Thruxton 14th Oct - M25 / M3 convoy ?

Anyone up for a convoy ?

Looking at the Monaros & HSV's registered for Thruxton, there seem to be a good 7 or 8 from Essex / Herts / Bucks / Surrey heading for Thruxton on the 14th.

I am sure there are also plenty heading south that will be using the M1/M25/M3 route. (Staffs / Northamptonshire / Scotland all represented). I don't know too many of the Monaro/HSV/VXR8 drivers up this way so it may be a good opportunity.

I guess a meet close to one of the Watford M25 junctions, plus maybe Fleet services on the M3 would cover it. Even if we just get 2 or 3 cars it may be worth it to make the blat down more interesting !!

heading part way down on the Friday night - probably just north of Birmingham. From there down to stay somewhere just off M4 for the Saturday and Sunday nights. Rest of the week - still to decide where and what we're going to do. Hope to be able to squeeze a visit in somewhere for some tweeks depending on time and finances ;-)

Meet points, routes and timings will be posted closer to the time - you can pick up with a whole load of other VXRs and give them a good whipping on the way down.
