Is there a simple way of getting rid of that annoying seat belt warning noise?

Please nothing along the lines of "belt-up then".

I think it's put there for the Yanks in their GTOs so they don't hurt themselves, you can also blame them for the stupidly small boot if you own an 05-> model.

Yes this drives me nuts as well, I just get over the rear parking sensors pinging away as I reverse out of the garage, and the seat belt warning starts up .... not what you need early on a Monday morning.

I have asked two dealerships and posted on here before ....... no cure so far. Apparently it all links with the airbag system so can't be unplugged.

There must be a cable to cut somewhere, but I don't want to be the first one to try it !!

Plug the passenger belt in to the drivers side. Works a treat!
