took my VXR8 for a few laps at one of our recent corp events.

One of the marshalls said mine seem to spit a bit of water out the exhaust. Is this normal?.

All cars do it.
A gallon of fuel produces just under a gallon of water - gotta go somewhere

That's how my old physics teacher explained rusty exhausts to me - they rust from inside not from the outside.

There's also a mild mix of acid in exhaust gas too but most of it is actually water (steam if you like) and until the whole of the exhaust system heats up it (the water vapour) condenses on the cold metal and it drips out the end.

(those last 4 words seem worryingly familier... )

Thanks, knew about the moisture and the acid. The bit about a gallon of water supprised me tho, have to read up on that! Cheers big nige!
