Has anybody ordered parts from the following website:

http://holmart.com.au/online/

Was enquiring about a set of Monaro VXR alloys that seem reasonable (compared to Vauxhalls prices anyway) that are approx £1000 plus shipping.

Was interested but they wanted credit card details via email???

Just wondered if anybody had heard of them / used them???

You should check out a couple of other mag wheels rather than the boring standard holden ones... You might be lucky to be able to get a set through koya over here..

Hmmm....being overly suspicious as I am, cpl of points to note. Web site looks a little slap-dash, lots of spelling/grammer errors etc, Pontiac Gto pics not Monaro etc etc. Couldnt see any 19 HSV wheels of any style for Monaro on their site, just seems a little hit and miss. Would I give credit card details via email or phone to them?? Not on evidence so far, but, may be worth asking on Aussie forums whether they are good.

Paypal ?? Worldpay?? JMHO

You mean like your spelling of grammer instead of grammar ? !

There are some 19" VZ Clubsport R8 alloys on the October specials page here:

http://holmart.com.au/online/category

They look like the VXR alloys. Are they the same anyone???

Plenty of good feedback for them on ls1.com.au they are a sponsor there.
There were some real cheap HSV premium brakes with 343mm fronts and 330mm rears for $2000Oz the set! But they all went very fast..
Id phone over your details though, but Id deal with them.

Hello,

Yes, I have bought a few things from them (all one order, spare shifter for a short shifter project and spare engine covers which I have still not resprayed) and everything arrived really quickly and superbly packaged. I would recommend them.

Cheers

Hi Steven,

Mind if I ask how you paid for your items? Did you have to send credit card details via email?

Cheers

Hi David,

Sorry, I can't remember exactly - it worked out about the same for the engine covers + shifter as sourcing the engine covers from a supplier in the UK. So seem to remember was about £130 inc shipping. Then got a little stung by customs but was expecting that (£30 I think).

Arrived within a couple of weeks so very fast. Re credit card yes, I sent it over a few emails to add a little security - could also phone them.

Cheers
Steven

Holmart,

Are the company that strip stock Holdens and prepare them for the HSV treatment.
Good well-known company and trustworthy.
