Hello

Does anyone know anything about this car:
http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/209933.htm

Is this suitable for a daily drive, or would it just be too crazy?

Is it worth the money, or would a similar amount be better spent on an 06 VXR500?

Any help/advice appreciated.

Thanks!

Personally I do't believe the figures quoted, especially after the last dyno run.

600 at the wheels is more or less 50% more than me and VXR-Daz - With harderned internals and 12 psi I reckon i could get to 460 at the wheels.

Help please - or should I trade mine in for this?

I tend to agree with AM04, if it has a Cam and Heads it might do 800fwhp with loads of boost. But as mentioned it would probably need forged internals. Maybe it has?

Stock engine is, say 400 hp? 12 psi isn't going to double that, try 20 psi imo? For that you need forged low comp pistons and could lower c/r to 7:1 or 8:1 which would allow more friendly boost. Are the blower specs posted?

Anyone close to give it a blast?

I can remember a previous thread on this car - think it was with Mark at RapidGB for something to prepare it for sale.

This car is as stated on the dyno sheets - fact! Because I built the engine and know exactly every little inch of this car from its boot to its bonnet. It's a 6.3L with Vortech Blower/All steel Internals...... any questions - just have to call. But great car for it's money as original owner spent loads.

Cheers

Come on then Mark, spill a few beans. Appx C/r and how much boost used, rpm's etc. It would be interesting to hear and you haven't got to give to much away.

Boosted.

Stroked too smile Nice, makes more sense then. Any idea on heads and cam?
Though I think just under 400rwhp is pretty good, cant see the need for any more for a daily driver.
