The battery is completely sha...d!! The AA chap said it drops to 6volts when you try to turn it over.I know its not got the original battery .Does anyone Know what the original spec should be(amp hours etc)? Then I can get the Network Q warranty into action(the alternator is ok)!rolleyesrolleyes

Oh God don't you just hate that! bought the wife a little sports car two weeks ago, she drove it the 100 miles home and was totally in love with it, she couldn't wait to take it out the very next morning, and yes, you have guessed it. So drive it back the 100 miles have a good moan and drive back 100 miles back home, or go down to Halfords????

From memory the battery is excluded from the Network Q guarantee

However, I am sure the dealer will look at how long you have had it and give you a new one

Mines 60Ah. A GM60-H3 to be precise. I'm sure there is room for a larger one.

The chap from Slaters said I can get our local Sylk dealership to give me a new battery.I will let you all know how I get on.whistle

Local dealer( now called Grasmere)put on a new battery FOC, but as original 3 yr warranty is still running they said that took precedance over networkQ, therefore they got Slaters to pay and presumably they get it back on the original warranty?Ive got my battery anyway!smile
