20,000 mile service

The display is telling me that my 20,000 mile service is due - thing is I've only done 11,500 miles and it was serviced last at just under 10,000 miles - around two months ago.

How does the computer work it out - and can I reset it?

Or does it know something that I don't and it's telling me that there is something up?

It's rubbish isn't it? Mine's been reset several times in the past few thousand miles but it still randomly tells me it needs a service. Easiest thing to do it just ignore it and get it serviced every 10k miles or Anually, whichever come first.

I do the same as Wormus says above - every 10k mine gets serviced whether the display starts throwing up warnings or not, coincidentally it heads to Greens this coming Saturday morning for it's 20k

Service. I check my oil regularly - especially since my big end failure the other month - don't want anything like that happening again!
