As said on the otehr forum I would consider it. The Zed is a fantastic package but the engine is a little too weedy - the LS1 or 2 would make a fantastic transplant and give the car what it needs.

After the APS and other TT fiasco's I would never trust anyone to TT a Zed. How many of the early ones blew? Quite a few.

Quite an expensive and new car to do such a thing though. Although for racing, its maybe a good move.

For someone to do that to a pretty new road car...well, thats a big step !!

indeed but when you consider you can get a jdm for 10k or less even you have a good bnasis to rip out that v6 (which is a gem of a motor anyway, just lacking in this day and age) and drop in a 4k crate engine + work.

I'd much rather take that route than go down the APS or any other TT route. That hose looks very close to the headers though or it might just be the foolery of the picture

£10k ? I didnt think they were as cheap as that.

I recall seeing a BMW Z4 with a LS transplant on LS1Teach a while back too....

Some of those guys have no problems at all with cutting up new cars !!

??? Not a UK based one, even with TC off EBD and stability remains on - or it certainly did when I was driving them
