Wrote this earlier and got binned out for "maintenance!" so cant be bothered to write again apart from saying even happier with my Ro after reading Evo and seeing it has more BHP than all the cars tested in the group bash and is also faster than all apart from Lambo! smokin

As a matter of interest, what are the official figures for your car and what internal mods does it have, I presume it's running 12psi?

On the Wortec webby there is a comparison dyno graph showing a 112 @12psi and a 122 @ 12 psi for the official numbers wormus.

Mind you they are hub figures.

S600VXR is running a 122 btw.

Interesting. I heard 9psi is the safe limit and reliability can be an issue at 12psi on stock internals. Surely pistons and rods need replacing?

Apparently the rods can handle a fair bit. Guys usually do pistons and rod bolts.
If you are messing about with all that anyway, perhaps you might as well do rods as well..

Is it fair to say the increased compression ratio of the LS2 limits the boost & power you can get from a blower? Mine's (5.7 ETC) now producing 520 fwbhp at 9psi and I'm wondering what it will take to get it over 600bhp? I know it's the law of diminishing returns but I'm just curious?

Heads and cam will be your friend if your pistons hold.
Both of them are limiting your intake. Probably cam primarily.

Stock piston crowns are the weak link, hence the option for forged with their greater capacity to absorb heat.

Just guessing but the LS2 would seem to be cooled better than the LS1, if so then the stock internals limit on power would be higher.

(Besides if it didn`t break with Brian driving then it`s pretty tough!!!!!hehe)
