Ok I know its not a Holden, but this engine gets rave reviews in Oz and is tunable to blow away V8's Its a 4L turbo. 240kw in stock form.
Anyway not a bad price if anyone is looking for a Ute for their "work" smile

I do think the Ute's look superb.....Even that Ford one looks ok ( not the P100 of course )

But I just cant get around the fact, they are totally impractical.

They are like a car, with no storage space for passengers, or stuff. And for hauling goods about.....they would make a crap van.

What actually is the point of these vehicles ?? aside from looking good lol

Depends on what work is. If you do plastering or gardening they might be ok. Still not as good as a van, only half the load space.
Or a cheap man's coupe smile

Obviously having had a ute I am going to be biased!!!! buying one through the business enabled me to have what I wanted with no personal costs (something different and with a V8) - business payed for fuel, servicing, upgrades, tyres etc, and being a commercial,I got the VAT back.It also came into the UK as a commercial and didn't incur luxury car tax, even though it had all available options. As for no luggage space for passengers .....there's a huge luggage space at the back!!!! My tonneau cover was completely waterproof and nothing got nicked out of it in 3 years.Mine was used every day for work, towed a trailer (who needs a van!),went on the Loton Park sprint track, Santa Pod and the Shakey drag strip and never let me down.I only sold it to emmigrate. Most fun car I have ever had.

their 20" bms austrialia (miami)... not sure of the offset, i got them put on in Oz before i shipped it back. They where chrome originally as you can see in my profile and i got a bit fed up so i got them painted black, i think they look a bit better now.

Mint ute mate yum

Look HEAPS better with the black centres. Careful though, with those black scoops it'll soon be an XB GT wink
