Can anyone advise on the best name and brand of oil to use? Also, so far I've been putting 97ron petrol in. Would 95 be OK? I don't mind spending an extra £3.50 for a full tank to be honest, I stopped smoking in the summer anyway, so I'm quids in, but I'd like to know if the 97 is better for the V8???

Thanks in advance

95 is fine if you're not in a 6.0 - then you really have to use 97+. If you have any kind of tune (Wortec or other) then you're, again, better off with the good stuff.

Oil wise, not sure - I let the service centers deal!

I've had my cars serviced by Roger @ Monkfish, and he uses 'Royal Purple' oils, etc. So, if that's what the man that knows all uses, then I reckon that's a pretty good recomendation.

95 ron is ok for a 6.0, according to the manual.

Redline, Royal purple, its not critical unless your running extreme power. Just make sure it a good quality fully synthetic of the right grade. (its on your filler cap)

We use 10W/30 Royal Purple oil.

Is their a good Castrol equivalent? I'm able to do a bit of a deal thru work if there is something suitable.
