This happens if a door is not closed/locked.................check that the door lock is working..............it is a common fault for the near side lock/motor to fail.

It's telling you that one of the doors or boot is open, or at least it thinks so.
Sometimes if the door buttons get stickey and don't go completely down when you lock it you also get these beeps.

Or it is set as the default for locking and unlocking. Check FAQ's for how to change - cannot remember off the top of my head , sorry.

Cheers guys. I just checked all the locking points, and they are all secure. So it's either a fault, or it's set like that as standard. I had a look in FAQ's but there's nothing there....

I'll have a look under the bonnet tomorrow at the alarm and see if there is any scope for change there...

My passenger door lock only works intermittently, it's ok after a few manual operations so I guess it needs lubrication, anyone know if this means pulling the door apart?

Is the car under warranty still?

Dad has just had the door locks replaced after a similar intermittent problem.

No out of warranty, I'm sure it's just a bit sticky, if I operate the lock manually it frees up for a while.
