OK after a nasty brick jumped out and bit both my nearside wheels while travelling down a local lane I am revisiting options for wheels. I know I can get the wheels refurbished and painted but I'm looking at taking the opportunity of going up to 19".
Questions...
1. Has anyone any spare 19" VXR wheels?
2. Has anyone any recommendations for alternatives (with prices)?
3. Anyone know what size tyres I should use?

At the moment have standard 18" CV8 wheels with 235/40 front and 255/35 rear tyres. I could use some extra space inside tho cos I AM getting a little rubbing on the caliper on the NSF of the AP's.
Thanks in advance

Sorry, can't help with the 19"s, I bought 3 X 18"s from e bay last night (planning on fitting winter tyres), has anybody got a spare 18" rim condition not important as it will be refurbed?
Thanks

Wortec are going to be offering some lightweight alternative wheels shortly, least thats what they were saying start of December. If you're really struggling I can maybe scan some pages from this months Street Commodores - full of fancy wheels and loads of suppliers in Oz - seen some decent sets of 4 for well under a grand before carriage. Last quote I got for 4 wheels by air freight was around 300 quid iirc. Couple of the dealers in there also supply official parts are considerably less than Vauxhall prices.
