How bad is it...?

I'm looking at importing some exhaust parts but i'm a little wary as to how long it will last compared to UK standards.
I was spooked a little after speaking to JHP who said they'd stopped exporting systems to the UK because of this problem.

Anyone got any first hand experience?

If it's certified to be a particular grade, then it will be the same all over the world. I do remember my metallurgy lecturer telling us about SS castings he was looking at in China, later found out to be mild steel which they had polished rolleyes

I believe the standard is 409 grade in Oz, compared to the european standard of 304.
May not be much of a problem given the cars only used for weekends and sunny days biggrin
But don't want a 'stainless' system thats still going to rust up on me with a bit of english damp.
