thing is they aren't like that at all. The AU Fords are utter shite. The interior is as bad to look at as Talacre Beach, and the build quality is crap. The power steering pumps are noisy, they are thirsty bastards even on gas. Save your money champ, i forsee dark days upon ye if thy buy thar wickeds machine....

Van? It's a ute, nothing like a van...

but seriously if that is teh case what is the point? Surely the whole "ute/van" thing is to be as practical as possible so surely they should onyl come with say 2 or 2.5d engines.

The only cars here with 2L engines are ones your Nan would drive...
The point of "utes" (I don't personally "get" utes) isn't practicality; most blokes seem to think they are "sports cars".

I use a van for my business, just wish I could get a decent sized van with a decent engine (LS2 for example).

Pretty sure the Falcon ute can tow a lot more than an equivalent Commodore.

I get 400 miles in the 97 fairmont with same engine!
Might cost £58 to fill, but the extra £8 will take a long time to pay off the lpg.

Mind you its making me Ill. 210bhp, is not quite the same as 480 smile
Roll on end of year bonus!
