just out of interest any reason why the car is called "carbon edition" as a bright orange/red stripe down the side doesnt imply anything carbon.

The only changes i can see are the black alloys.have there been any other editions to the exterior/interior.

I have no idea why carbon? as you say it could be the extended carbon footprintlol, in addition to the red strip down the side the car has a Harrop supercharger, intercooler, lowered suspension, electronic switchable exhaust and the 20 inch wheels i think this one has a performance clutch fitted

how do you find the ride with the 20" and lowering kit?.
I have a red VXR8 with wortec power pac and may get the wheels and lowering kit done but I dont want to make the car a much harsher ride.

did you get yours from wortec?. I see them selling the carbon one on their website.

How is the clutch?. I tried the WP car with SC and didnt like the clutch. Too heavy!!

enjoy

[off topic]LS7 clutch is built for over 500bhp and is as light as stock.
Totally recommended for a mid power upgrade. I think Roger gives one a good workout in his turbo ute.
Otherwise higher power stuff, the textralia seems the best.[/off topic]

does anyone know what clutches WP and Wortec put in their cars as part of SC upgrades?.

I want SC in my VXR8 but I dont want a heavy and awkward biting clutch.

The Walkinshaw demo car runs with an upgraded clutch as standard to suit the power and i would say the pedal load is very similar to the OE clutch. After a couple of weeks bedding in the car runs normally without bite as you put it. My wife drives it without noticing the difference.
There was a period of two weeks last year where the Vauxhall owned SC car ran with a 600 bhp plus clutch and this was too heavy.
