Not auto pilot of course, but is there a proper hands free that integrates with the car stereo available for these cars ?

Bluetooth of course.

Yes, I ordered mine from Oz, there is a button which fits into the centre console and a wiring loom which connects to the head unit. I'll try to find details

My previous owner has fitted a parrot bluetooth system in mine, and I think that works very well using the existing stereo system. I can hear people clearly, and they can hear me. It has a very simple interface and integrates very well with my mobile. I'm not very knowledgeable on these things though, as I have never owned one before this car. Just thought I'd offer my two cents

The Holden Bluetooth kit only works with the stock HU if I'm correct.

Hi, I have a parrott 3200 fitted to mine and it is ace, interface with the stereo is faultless and the little screen i have mounted next to the interior mirror. Bought on ebay for £70, fitting £70 by a local audio firm.

I've been meaning to ask about this to. I like the idea of the factory fitted look, does it work well though as its not cheap.... and I assume you have to use your phones display to dial out and to see who is calling in? unlike the parrot kit which has a display unit.

the parrott has a screen which holds all your numbers so you can scroll and dial from the mini screen, i keep my phone in my pocket and the parrott logs it in automaticaly. i can be on a call, get in the car, turn on the ignition and all of a sudden the earpiece goes dead and the call is on the stereo its superb, obviously you get caller display on the screen as well. only problem with parrott is that some phones do not automaticaly upload their phone number lists to the unit and you then have to do it manually. having got one i would recomend it !!
