Spotted - but not by me

I was off work yesterday, but I'm back in today. I was told by colleagues this morning that a silver Monaro was parked up in Maidstone yesterday (Tues 19th) while someone jumped out and popped to the postbox. They all thought my dad had borrowed the car, as it was an older gentleman (apologies if this was you)

After some questions it appears it was a VXR, not an 05 CV8 which mine is as it had the spokey alloys. Didn't think there were any around this area.

mine is a 53 plate monaro in silver, yes i am a bit of a old fart.

Well it's nice to know there are a couple round my way. Shame it wasn't me that spotted you. I don't see many down here. Since I first saw one on top gear I've only seen two monaro's round this area. A red one parked up near homebase/curry's in rochester a few months back, and a silver one on the M26 august last year when that lorry tipped over and the traffic grinded to a halt. Took me over 5 hours to get from mid M26 to brighton for a stag do. We kept hearing this monaro starting up every 10-15 mins when the traffic started moving from 100 yards away ha ha.

What a noise!!

Hi, I would think the red one you saw in the retail park was probably mine. It is my local Homebase and having bought a new house late last year I have been there quite a bit! There is another red VXR around the Chatham area I have seen a couple of times. Anyone on here?
