I've had a look around the Network Q site but couldn't find the answer I was looking for..

If I was to buy a Monaro from a Network Q dealer in England and then was to have a problem with the car at home in Northern Ireland, would I be able to take it to a N.Ireland Network Q dealer to have the work done under the one year Network Q warranty?

Thanks,

Stu

I'd guess that it would have to be a 'Monaro-approved' main dealer with the correct tools, expertise and highly-skilled technicians that have been specially trained to work on these cars.

(Tongue firmly in cheek)

I bought my Monaro through a Network Q dealer who cannot service it or carry out warranty work. I have to go to a nominated Monaro dealer.
Check if you have any in your area.

It is possible to have it done in NI though as I looked into it all beforehand and made sure before buying mine and taking it over to NI - Stu has some contacts via email now so hopefully he gets it bought soon wink

Well I went into a Network Q dealer in Belfast today. Got the impression that the girl I spoke to didn't have a baldy. When I told her it was a Monaro I was interested in she replied "oh they're quite old aren't they?"

Anyway, after she asked one of the salesmen, they said it shouldn't be a problem, but to be honest I wasn't filled with confidence. Didn't realise there was a dealer near Aldergrove as pointed out by Baz, so will give them a buzz and see what they say. Have also emailed Network Q but no reply yet.

Will keep ya's informed..

Bear in mind that you will get more sense from Eakins up in Derry, it's the other side of the country from you, but it is only an hour and a bit by car, which is nothing considering I drive over 4 countries to get mine serviced wink
