Wheel paint?

Yes - after 33000 miles I have finally done it and caught a rear wheel when coming out of a car park in London last night!

I had a small chip on a front wheel when the car was new and tried without success to paint this in with a suitable matching paint/

Does anyone know of where I can buy the right colour paint for a 56 plate VXR?

I dont think you can buy it. The colour of the wheels appears to be done by painting siler over black to create the shodow chrome effect. Most wheel refurb people will just paint it silver which then looks different to the other wheels. There are some very good wheel refurb people that will paint the whole wheel, but it usually requires removal, sand blasting and a complete repaint. Sorry.

It is indeed painted black and then silver over the top so that the "shadow" of the black shows through.

No paint will match this unfortunately
