Monaro Exhaust, will they fit a VTII?

Will an LS1 Monaro exhaust fit a VTII Commodore GTS? If not,a re they significantly different?

The VT2 has a longer wheelbase than a Monaro, so I believe the exhaust won't fit as standard, as it's not long enough.

Thanks O.versteer, I wonder if I could get a Pontiac GTO exhaust and modify to fit, as they seem a bargain.

I don't suppose anyone know how much a VTII GTS exhaust costs here in the UK do they?

Where in the southeast are you?
Theres a good place in South london where i got my CAT back system from for my LS2 and i was just over £550 if that helps

US Cat back should fit and Monaro and VT/VX headers will swap ok.
RHD US headers are a no go. And the later VZ (small boot) Monaro's cat back will also be different. So you will want the 04 one.
Thats how I understand it all works

Oh that would be excellent, It's only a Cat back that I want. Top man!

Yeah just check the models for cat back. I think all US ones were small boot, ie VZ 05+ stuff.

Hi Terry,
The place where i got my exhaust made was at www.longlife.co.uk
Its the same as the Wortec exhaust from the rear and has the same 2.5" pipes and sounds the same, but the guy who fitted it said he could make it as loud as i wanted it to be.
