VXR Rear spoiler help required please

This will teach me for ignoring the rattle in the boot, which was very obviously the centre nut off the spoiler.

Someone chose to lift the boot by the spoiler over the weekend... and off it came. The double sided tape had perished a lot which didn't help at all, and now the spoiler is 4 piece rather than 3 piece!

It has broken just near the mounting point at the end, but luckily it is a very clean break and when you place the 2 pieces back together it is hardly noticible at all. Once it is back on the car, I'll call a 'scratch and dent man' to see if he can hide it even further.

The question is... does anyone know what sort of adhesive is best to use to join it. It seems like an injection moulded foam, and I would hate to melt it using the wrong glue!

The spoiler on my previous car was broken, I think, in the same place, in an auto car wash incident. I used 5 min araldite, which worked a treat, in the year or so that I kept the car after, it was always as solid as a rock.
