EFILive RTACS?
Discussion
I am not sure it's the same feature, but sounds similar. All the autotune stuff I have used before needs a really fast wideband. I am wondering if this is the case with this, and if you actually need a wideband per bank. They can work really well, but some require you to hold the load site for a period of time, which is really tricky on the road.

Yes you need the "road runner" ECU so it only works for 99-04 Applications.
Basically the ECU has its flash memory replaced with battery backed ram. This means you can go into a closed loop with the wideband controllers adjusting fueling as you drive. This can be to any AFR and not just the usual 14.7:1 that the narrow bands do.
There is no need to hold any load etc, just drive. The ECU will automatically check wideband and compare to the current ECU map. If there is a difference it will adjust the ECU map until it hits your defined threshold for accuracy.
There are quite a few triggers for it and you can filter out areas you dont want affected etc. Or just accept the defaults etc.
It automates the manual "autotune" process.
There is talk of taking dyno input to auto adjust spark timing eventually using the same setup.
Actually Steve from Oztrack in Oz (of course) posted up a video of it working. I think there is also one on ls1tech.
I ran it myself in my VTII, works fine. The Road Runner is a god send on the dyno. No need to stop engine to flash, just make changes on the fly, made a massive difference to power over all load points not just WOT.

So my VTII has the correct ecu to use this?

You put in target AFR's for the load sites and simply drove around. I even changed turbo and just let the ECU adjust to the target AFR's. If this works that well I am very excited.
