Has anyone changed the wheel nuts on a Monaro for high quality ally one's?
I think the plastic covers look a bit cheep...what do you think?
While i'm at it does the Moknfish response pack improve the steering feel in the straight ahead position? How doe's the car feel overall?

Er, if you could get alloy wheel nuts (which I doubt) I certainly wouldn't use them unless you like your wheels unbolting themselves.. Titanium maybe!

What plastic covers?? mine are chrome (and rust!!!).

Response pack does away with the 'slop' in the steering, along with Monkfish's settings the car feels much better. Still has what feels like 15 turns lock to lock though, it's never going to be go-kart quick. worth doing though, definately.

Yeah standards have nasty hammer on plastic covers on rather bland looking nuts. When I changed my rims last year I dropped on some very smart chrome nuts.
I agree, not sure I'd want aluminium...... I like the ride height as is!

Sure there's been discussion on here re a quicker steering rack thats a straight replacement for the stock item, might be worth a search if you want to improve it further.
