I got round to doing the Wortec sports pac!!! We all know it's pricey, but worth doing in my opinion!!

I told the mechanic to put the loud pipes on, which I love, but I feel a bit Chavvy to be honest, and the wife hides her face in shame and calls me a boy racer...Has anyone else had this feeling, or stick from the missus? I'm going to put the quieter pipes on this weekend, as they sound a bit more respectable...

Does anyone have a dyno sheet from a standard pre Wortec CV8, before and after? I can feel more power, and throttle respose is definately improved, but would like to know some figures. I was quoted around 390bhp after the re-map, but that sounds very optimistic to me........

I have focus pac with LOUD...
Tunnels and 4000+rpm make me smile more than the missus.

spend a bit more and get the electric switchable silencers that way your both happy

I had the sport pac on my CV8 and it dynoed at 379fwbhp. Then we added the SC

Nope..... wife said that I'd spoilt the car as it was too loud, but then again she didnt have any taste. She married me!

Definitely found it too loud, especially when dipping the clutch to stop - suddenly all quiet... felt a fraud.

Terraced houses bith sides of the street on the way to the nursery with junior with morning, 1st gear, 4k revs.... MAGIC!
