Ok, it was earlier this week -- Monday evening on the A505 baldock bypass -> A1(M)

Was it you? Recognised the number. I was in a people carrier sadly but you seemed to be doing a fair old clip. Gained on you braking down to the roundabout though but you turned left and were gone.

Sounded lovely when you blew past.

Well done. Made the miserable 140 mile trip in a diesel van derived car just that little bit more tolerable.

Wasn't me but I spotted a red nostrul on the M1 going south around Watford, I just about cut in front of you in my silver ro smile, you then got off at Watford and I stayed on and go caught in traffic for an hour as someone ahead knocked a lampost from the central reservation over all 3 lanes of the M1 frown

It was me! (changed my user name a little while ago). The tunnel is also nice (if a little short) but Hatfield is better...

I love the new bypass and the roundabout is great for drifting out of going the other way (not that I ever do wink).

Are you local? I think it is worth getting a little Cambs/Herts/Beds meeting going!

wink Only joking, you are more than welcome! beer

There is a regular Northants meeting at Sywell aerodrome every month. We could work out a good route through the back roads and join them for lunch? Depends how far people want to travel.

Can you let us know when these meetings happen?
Will see if I am able to attend.

byebye that's my first PH spot then.

I'm not that local really -- Snetterton, but I'll keep looking out for a meeting somewhere around about, I'm very often going round that bypass. I love the roundabout and also going towards/onto the A1(M) south that sensational double apex sweeping left is a load of fun.

Will be good to have you guys along for a visit.

We meet at Sywell Aerodrome from midday onwards on the first Sunday of the month for some coffee/tyre kicking.
