He's right, mine averages 16-17mpg but that's because I like to use the blower. It's a bit painful with petrol prices being what they are.

22-24 seems to be my lucky Avg Mpg. I have a friend with a 52 plate V6 Vectra and he see's the same as me. Told him to buy a Monaro instead

Reset the display and had a nice little run down to Whistable yesterday (sorry I missed you Neil). Cruised at 70 and average was just short of 30MPG. I reckon I would have broken 30 easy if it hadn't been for the convoy of stupid tailgaters in the fast lane who kept breaking in succession causing me to drop out of cruise. Its been snowing and you have a row of about 10 cars all driving about 3 feet apart. As soon as the front car breaks it's like a mexican wave of break lights as everyone else does. Idiots!

My last reading was about 17mpg, but now that I've got through most of the people that were queuing up to take a ride in it, my average MPG should go up a little (just a little ). It's currently reading 24.5.

Owning the 'ro has shown me how much the car must have been ragged when it was sat at the dealer to have an average of 13MPG. I have opened her up quite a bit in the first few weeks of ownership and never got it down that low without resetting the computer. Considering how many miles mine has done, the folks at Greens must have ragged it hard mad

You don't have to try that hard, just lots of short trips around the garage forecourt would do it.
