I'm gonna be taking mine to Monkfish for my next service. It's a good two hours drive for me, but after the comments on here, and considering how helpful they were when I first purchased the car and needed some advice, I think it's worth it.

My next (first for me) service is either november, or in 10,000 miles. I think the 10k will come sooner because I just can't stop driving the car

Even if I don't do the miles, I'll probably go sooner than November. Make it a nice late summer run to Monkfish.

I have a CV8 also.

I've had 2 services at Monkfish (and a lot of other work). Bonuses are the ability to chat to knowledgeable and enthusiastic people about these cars.
I'll be there for another service in a few weeks I expect. 04 CV8

30K service on 05 CV8 at Monkfish was as per their website service price listing for Ro's (about £190). Had it done there last November on a Saturday morning in less than two hours. Free wireless internet connection was handy. Also, first real chance to chat with staff and other owners since owning the beast.

The guys at Monkfish have a wealth of experiance and knowledge, just look at the twin turbo car they have been building. I don't think you will find better qualified people to look after the Ro.

If you're in that area, take the trip to Picadors in Southampton. It's where I bought mine from, and I've had some work and a service done. They know their monaros and so far I can't fault them.

Just had mine done at Drive Bristol (Central). Charged £301 though had quoted £419 including £30 for the MOT. So not sure if the original quote was wrong or they have made a mistake in my favour or what. One mistake they forgot to change the air filter. When I got home I noticed I hadn't been charged for one so checked and sure enough still dirty one fitted. Lady on the phone was quite apologetic and agreed to send the filter to their Patchway branch close to where I live and I will fit it myself. Not sure if they are going to charge me for it, didn't give a price. Didn't have it in stock of course. You would think 3 weeks notice of doing a 3 year service on a Monaro would trigger some kind of automatic check to get the parts required. I guess in principle an element of the labour I have paid is for changing it. So if I'm now doing it part should be free I reckon. Haven't had a chance to check if they have missed anything else. Got the stamp in the book that is the main thing.

I had mine done there on Tuesday. Came in under budget also but they seem to have done everything and they washed it, which is something Audi up the road could never manage. On the other hand they also seemed to think that the Monaro has 20k service intervals, and I'm pretty sure they put a little dent in the wing, which I can't prove of course.

Just fitted the air filter so looking forward to lots of extra BHPs tomorrow. Only cost £10.01, p/n 92068161. Pleasantly surprised. So credit to Drive when it is due...
