Was the guy with the hearing aid. Tonight he told me they'd done one earlier on. I always use them.

They were here fitting new rears to mine. I'd rejected the first pair they sourced as being too old, earlier in the week. They came back with the new pair about an hour ago. Paul, the boss guy, seems a good chap.

Sorry to hear about your wheels. Not seen it occur on a 'Ro before. Sucks. Hope they can sort you out quickly. They are about £800 a corner I think...

Do post with your thoughts on 452s once you've scrubbed them in. I'm hoping for more grip with the fresher rubber.

I buckled a wheel on the delivery trip home with my Monaro. Hit one of the UK's finest potholes and knocked the lead off the battery causing complete systems failure and a sore back for the missus. Put that wheel on the rear to avoid handling issues!

Ive done 110 miles on them now and first impressions are bad, drove it in the dry today and the car is all over the place, really dont like them, ill give them another few hundred more miles and if they are no better im getting rid.

It's the kind of thing I'd already read on here. Some seem to like them, however, and that made me wonder. Maybe your dealer will kit out the replacement wheels with the OE Pirellis... That'd be good, if a bit much to hope for.

My son had a wheel crack on his audi, they wanted over £2000 for 4 wheels without tyres, he got a set of 4 with tyres on the net brand new for £400, I cannot remember which firm he dealt with.

Could be worth a try.
