Dash display

As we all know when you start a Monaro up the dash display reads Vauxhall, can this be changed back to read Holden? Will Vauhall oblige, any idea of the cost?

sure there was a place in the US I saw could do it but it wasn't cheap. Probably easier and cheaper to get a set of clocks from Oz and put a sticker over the km/h

You need a Tech2 I would suggest. You can get them off ebay, but they are not cheap. They are pretty much internal to GM devices for diag/servicing etc.
I doubt Vauxhall would do that for you though.

It will be embedded into the Instrument Cluster EEPROM. Easiest way is swap the entire instrument cluster for a Holden one though I am not sure on a GM whether it will have to be coded back into the car with Tech2.

I would of 'thought' Tech2 could flash the entire EEPROM but not modify each bit of it....

How annoying it must be to change all your external badges and kick plates to say Holden only for the car to remind you that it is in fact a Vauxhall!
