There isn't a spotted thread for Monaros that I can see, so I'm sorry if a new topic isn't necessary.

But anyway, I've loved Monaros for just over a year I think now, and never seen one in real life until today. They're so rare, but waiting was worth it. They look amazing on road without really trying.

Anyway, since they're kinda rare I was wondering if the owner is on here.

Spotted turning right towards Tameside College in Ashton, Manchester. I can't remember the plate, but it was black and pretty shiney. Great cars. smile

Hey, good to see the owner's on here. Great car you have although I'm sure you know that already.

Hopefully I'll see (and hear!) you around again soon. smile

With a name like volante it sounds like you should be an historic Aston man?

I'm just a fan of Astons and Volante sounds good. smile

Rocket-man, were you by any chance around the Wilmslow area today? Didn't manage to see the plates as you were going in the opposite direction but there isn't many around so I'm guessing it's you again.

The Wilmslow area......

As it happens, yes...ish.

Popped down the A34, off at John Lewis roundabout then to Heald Green around early evening.

Then back around 8:30 / 9pm for a spin back to Tameside...

Was it me?
Or someone else?

Not sure on the exact time but it was during the afternoon, before 4pm if that helps. I can't even remember what road it was on, except it was near a round about I think. I could be wrong, I don't know the area well.

Thinking about it, it must have been you. I'm assuming the roundabout you're talking about is right near the Merlin hotel if you turn left, but right is Wilmslow direction? If so, it was you.

Was it you in Ashton on Sunday evening? I gave a black Monaro VXR driver a quick thumbs up at the lights from my MR2 smile
