Childish and probably dangerous but...

I was in the Smart this morning on the M25, doing about 75 I suppose, traffic in front and to the side when, barrelling up behind me came this crappy old Passat, 2 blokes in it, headlamps flashing obviously thinking he had more of a right to be where I was than I did.
(He wasn't old bill btw)
I didn't really have anywhere to go and anyway that sort of behaviour really riles me...so I stayed put.

And he cuts on the inside with a view to dashing in front of me before I got alongside the car he was now rapidly closing on.
Anyway, with a rapidly narrowing gap he decides to try and bully his way into my space...the f**ker... but I didn't budge and YES...he blinked first and swerved back into his lane, clearly shaken to be out bullied by a freakin' Smart!
He dropped back about 200 yards... at which point I moved over ('cos I could by then ) and as he cam past me, on the correct side, I just grinned at the 2 apes in the VW.

As I said, probably not what I should be doing in a Smart...

My best mates Dad is distribution manager for Mercedes at Milton Keynes and gets to bring home all the new models before some are even in the public domain. Just prior to release he got a Smart roadster. My mate came round in it to take me to the gym. Got to say it was fun!laugh It weighed about the same as the burger I'm going to have for lunch.laugh Pretty quick off the mark and handled quite well too.

It's weird, you feel strangely protected in a Smart where you'd think you wouldn't - I think it's the fact that all the pillars and bulkheads etc are that much closer to you and therefore feel bigger.

4* NCAP rating helps as well.
