Got one of those really annoying faults, bloody drivers seat is creaking every time I go round a corner. Grrrr..
And yes, I can hear it over the exhaust!!!
Thought I saw a post about this sometime back but search is no help.. Anyone got any ideas??? (standard Ro black leather chairs by the way).. Ta

I've got this too, it's worse when the seat is in the lowest position. I believe there was a Tech Service Bulletin thing posted on LS1GTO about this which advocated trimming some material off the plastic seat back.
A trip to the dealers may be in order. The creaking is very annoying and an internet search suggests we're very much not alone. I thought I'd seen the end of poor build quality when I sold my VX220. But the seat and a glance over at the glove box suggests otherwise.

Hi Guys,
I posted something about 8-10 months ago re creaking seats. In my case it was the lumbar support and the general white plastic in the seat itself (rear section). Check if it is the lower or the back section you have the problem with, i.e. creaking when getting or going around bends. Bends are normally the rear section.
Anyway, if it is the rear section you need to buy some clips off Vauxhall and pop off the rears of the seats then place loads of grease (or pad out) on the plastic to plastic contacts (lots of them) and grease the lumbar bars/supports).
Code for the clips (need two per seat) are 92140918.
Cheers
Steven

Yes seems to be coming from the rear, mostly corners as opposed to back & forth movement, although I do also run it in the lowest postion permanently.
Thanks for the info Steven, I'll give it a go when I get the time..
I had aloud creak coming from the drivers seat, and a similar noise from the front passenger seat. Both were fixed under warranty. The rear plastic cover has to come off which snaps all the clips, then grease the all the metal parts inside of the seat. job done. Believe me the noise drove me insane.
