Recommendations on immobilisers

Hi all. Can anyone provide a recommendation on product and/or fitters for an immobiliser for the Ro? Seems as though the price variation is huge.

What's good?
How much do you pay for fitting?
How long does it usually take to fit?
Is this another one of those situations where it becomes ridiculously difficult if the fitter doesn't know a Ro from a bowl of goldfish...or is it as straight forward as making toast?

Excellent question. I don't want to touch the thing but after canning one insurance company for revising their quote after I took out the policy, the next best was unbelievably demanding proof of Thatcham Cat 2. This is definitely not a 'like to have', more a 'gotta have'.

whilst I wont profess to knowing how accurate that report is, it does sound a bit "my mate down the pub"

Clifford techy showed me first hand on how easy it was to bypass .

Its not cheap but the car goes nowhere even if the get hold of my keys and fob it has anti car jacking and all the normal sensors and one other very cool thing about the 5.5 system is remote start.
