Exhaust ....idle thoughts

Last time I checked there were seven silencers under my 05 spec cv8..SEVEN..
NO WOUNDER IT'S QUIET... just a thought, if I take off the two rear silencers and replace them with straight through pipes will it sound better or just mess up the fueling?

Wont make any difference to fueling, O2 sensors handling the fueling are right up close to the exhaust ports, so you can pretty well do what you like past then.

Only thing is that 4 sensor models might complain that the cat has lost efficiency because you have either chopped it out or replaced it with a highflow less efficient model.
