Does anyone know of any manufactures who make alloys for our cars really fed up with the standard ones now they look pants and poor quality, the A.Ps are running rather close too, they'd be for an 04 cv8 cheers Andy

AC Schnitzer 19" x 9 (or 8 1/2, I forget) for 04 VXR, plenty of room for discs (even big ones). Team up with Pirelli 245/35 19 boots, very nice. I've posted piccys before but having trouble with photobucket right now. Do search for 'big boot' thread (Marchish) to view.

before Xmas Roger @ Monkfish was saying that Wortec were bringing in a range of lightweight sports wheels - haven't seen any announcements about these recently so maybe its not happening? Best place for aftermarket wheels is Oz - pick up any copy of Street Commodores mag to see just how many adverts there are for wheels. I scanned a load in for someone a few months back, maybe do a search for that post to get some ideas.

I spoke to Roger about this too - he gave me a site name (long since forgotten) to have a look at but the wheels looked more like the sort of thing you'd see on US motors (lots of chrome). I'm after 20s, really, since my wheels need refurbing and the tyres need replacing... swings and roundabouts.

You will need 25 profile tyres if you go wide on the back....

Cheers for that, I was done at rogers some time ago and I think i remember him mentioning wheels I checked them out but they were too chromey they wouldn't last two minutes with all the grit they put out when it rains, Ive been looking at fitments for M3's what sort of work is needed for them to fit

M3 rears will not even get near. Standard E46 offsets work. Trouble with the Ro is the hubs are quite a long way out so your offset needs to be low/high depending how you look at it. Thats why you cant get rims with a big lip unless the spokes fold back on themselves which looks c**p IMHO.

I think E46 bmw (not m3) have the same offset and pcd
