Screws for holding door "full open" bracket in place
Discussion
Not entirely sure what the bracket would officially be called but what I'm on about is the bracket which attaches to the A pillar down about the height of the glovebox - i.e. the bar which moves into the door frame and prevents the door coming full open and basically folding back on itself - somehow the pair of screws securing the plate on my passenger door have vanished without a trace, and I'm a little concerned about letting the missus fling the door open until I acquire a few more...anyone have a part number or even the screw sizes and I can acquire a few from a local hardware shop when back in town...
I've had a quick look at mine and would say the ones in the A post are 6mm thread with an 8mm head which from a hardware store would come with a 10mm head so i would maybe look for some with a allen key head because clearence looks a bit tight they are also about 25mm long
the ones on the door end have 6mm thread nuts with 10mm flats as normal the bolts come from inside the door so may be rattling around inside the door
it's called a check strap by the way
