Hi lads,
I`ve fitted all of this into my Astra Coupe, incl the headunit. It came from a scrappy without the code. I`ve tried everywhere, but no joy.
Only option left is to buy another used unit.
Has anyone got or know of one for sale please ?

Thanks
Pete

Try these guys: RMD Audio: www.fourcars.co.uk/microsite.php?dealerid=23

They are based on the same industrial estate as RapidGB and I know they have done several Monaro ICE installations. They may have a spare unit kicking about?

Just checked the audio handbook (Both Holden and VX versions) and there is no mention of Model. However it does suggest contacting Holden or VX Dealer if you have lost the security code who can then provide it, having proved ownership, to you for a fee........

Yes mate, it`s all up and running, just got bonnet pins and brake bias adjuster to fit, then drive it round the corner to a 4 post, realign the propshaft and clip the fuel line up. Then to the bodyshop to get the doors repainted, then MOT, then over to Ashford to Bill Richards racing for the geometry setup. There`s a few things to get tidied up, but nothing too serious.
On axle stands, in 6th at 80 mph the rev counter reads 2000 rotate

what diff gears are you running - that a 3.7 or 3.9 ratio? I can sit on a private road at 80mph at around 1750-1800rpm in 6th gear. Think the change to a 3.9 adds around 200rpm at 70mph iirc. That Astra's going to be like a ballistic missile!

The LSD internals are from a Monza 3.9 I believe. Henryk Franczak (NotNormal`s dad) of V-tuning built them into the Omega casing for me, excellent job too smile

I thought someone would`ve replaced their o.e. headunit.

I think I`ve got it sorted, found someone who`s gonna have a go at reprogramming it, fingers crossed smile
