Has anyone got access to a technical guide for bleeding the clutch on a 2004 Monaro?

Thanks

I was about to ask a similar question for the 2006 VXR.

Can't you use the old flush trick as outlined here:

www.rangeracceleration.com/Clutch_Care.html

It did the job for me. It was from this thread:

What is the best clutch fluid to use? Dot 4 or Dot 5? Can you mix them or must you stay with the type you have in already (standard fitment is Dot 4 right?).

dot 5 is questionable as I believe it can bugger up rubber/plastic seals that are okay with dot 4. Dot 5.1 is fully synthetic and much more friendly to seals which was why I asked on the other thread about clutch fluid if it wouldn't be sensible to use it with its higher boiling point and lower water absorption. I read into this when I was going to do the brakes and you do have to be careful as the dot5 and dot5.1 are very different liquids.

Thanks. So should I use Dot 5.1 instead of 4, and can I mix them or do I need to drain the system first (which means that I won't do it....).

If I can't mix them, then I'm staying with Dot 4 - in which case, what is the best one to use? Is there a accepted best make?
