about 10k-12k a year so about 200ish on average.
Wouldn't mind but work from home so no commuting!
I had the idea of limiting my use to 10,000km P/A which is about half average apparently. Seem to be doing a bit more than that though, even though I have a very local business which I use my van for.Wouldn't mind but work from home so no commuting!

yeah - mine is limited to 9k and am at 8.3k with 2 months to go before renewal so may have to update it!
Whoops I think I misled you there, I wsa trying to keep the milage down to try and protect my "investment". I don't know if we can get limited milage insurance here? but mine is fully comp, $50,000 agreed value, any licenced driver, no milage restriction, costs about $900 P/A (just under £500)O/T I've just started giving my 16YO daughter driving lessons, using the ex's Falcon XR6 (auto) to start with, but will have to use the Monaro as it is the only manual in the family (except my Vito)
having just got a job the other side of town I think I might sell the jag and either ride the bike to work and get healthy or get teh bus.
The ro is just too much of a good thing - problem is so is the x-type so with 2 very capable 4 seat cars its hard to work out which one to take on long trips to France. Selling the jag will be easier than the Ro, will save me 800 quid (tax + insurance) so its now looking tempting (just need to guage the new commute via my healthy option...)

Yearly average mileage for me, split between 2 cars -
About 6,000 pa in the Monaro (weekend/holiday use)
About 10,000 pa in my commuter car, was a Pug 405 TD, just replaced by a Ford (!) Mondeo ST TDCI.
Trip to work is 24 miles each way, mostly 'A' road, 12 miles single carriage way, then 12 miles dual carriage way. The Monaro does about 20 mpg on this trip, the Mondeo 45 mpg

Because of my situation, each time I'm home I average around 600 miles a week for 3 weeks - times 3 for the amount of hols I get per year and 5400 miles annually doesn't sound too bad does it?(insurance is limited to 6K/year
!) But, then again, it's costing more each time I am home...175 road tax Jan 07, 205 Jan 08 & (allegedly) 425 Jan 09. Mmmm! Plus petrol rises!
Edited to say: not voted cos it would'nt be an accurate vote!
