Pi **ed off with Vauxhall Customer service
Discussion
My Monaro has been at Greens for almost 2 weeks now waiting for a power steering pipe after springing a leak from one of the power steering pipes, but the metal pipe is on back order from Holden in oz so god knows when im going to get it back and no one knows.
And after calling Vauxhall almost every day and driving around in a poxy 1.8 Vectra they still can’t tell me a delivery date.
I’ve ask Vaux customer service to give me a demo VXR8 but a different person that i was dealing with told me NO today. But im sure I read somewhere on here that someone got a VXR8 from them while there Monaro was awaiting parts.
So what im asking is “has anyone been given a VXR8 as a loan car???”
Or am I lucky to have been given a Vectra?????

is it just me or is it crazy that if all thats needed is a pipe we cant get one made up the same day in this country? Surely its off the shelf parts that are needed? Or has UK manufacturing and engineering got so bad we cant even manage that now.
It is crazy and yet more demonstration that Vauxhall basically couldn't give a
about Monaro owners now.monkfish1 said:
Which one do you need. Do you know? We keep the coolers and one of the pipes in stock, but not the other 2, though we did get one of the others a couple of weeks ago.
Well when you look down throught the engine bay and look at the steering rack where the 2 metal pipes go into the rack , its the bottom one thats leaking. i did before taking ot to Vauxhall loosen it off and retighten it but it still leaked.Im going to call the dealer and check.

I see that dealership (non)service is a world over problem!
We go through the same crap here in the states waiting for parts from OZ! My father waited almost 3 months for a new rear end!!

Thats crazy but i thought it would be better in the States because you have more GTO's over there than we have Monaro's over here.

I called Holden last night who then called GM and they said the part i need would be 3 to 4 months before i got the part. Holden are putting a order for the part through in a months time then they have to sort there back orders out first the remaining parts would then be sent on to the rest of the world if there are any left. Thats all wrong.... Maybe its time to buy another car if this is going to keep happening
