Will the 05 Pontiac GTO Exhaust fit an 05 monaro? I priced a cat back system from Magnaflow, it was £565.00, anybody out there got one fitted?

I can't see how it wouldn't, but I don't have one. I've just taken a full Milltek system off mine and I'll compare tomorrow when I'm taking some pics of it.

You need to be careful with what people mean by "05 model".
You guys seem to use it to mean the VZ (produced from Sept 04), but the US are notorious for marketing the "05" in early 04...
A V2 system won't fit a VZ because of the fuel tank.

The 2005-2006 GTOs have dual exhaust, and the 6.0 ls2. So if your Monaro has that it should work. I am trying to find out if the Wortec exhaust will fit on my 06 GTO.

Since the VZ has the fuel tank moved up out of the way is this really the case? I'd have said you can't fit the VZ pipe on the earlier model.

simplest way to work it out

if your fuel tank is under the boot and you can actually store something in the boot of your car buy bits marketed as for an 04 GTO
if your fuel tank is in the boot and you can only get a small child in the boot if you cut off limbs then buy bit marketed as for an 05 or later GTO

This technique gets around the whole UK date of registration nonsense where we have "04" model cars being sold with 06 regisration numbers and doesnt involve people getting confused over the whole VY, VZ labelling either.
