Yesterday afternoon, at about 1315, I was exiting a roundabout on the Thame bypass- clearly indicating, when someone undertook me in a light blue 08 reg Monaro (I think, definitely a GM car though). It almost hit me, which would have been disastrous and potentially fatal, considering I had my wife and two under 5's in the car. I tried to go after it in an attempt to get the full no plate, when it outran me heading for the M40. I drive a T5, so it was going pretty quickly.
Does anyone know this person? If so, please PM me. I would like to know who it was. It may well have been stolen, in which case evidence of driving dangerously can be presented.
Thanks

It wont have been a monaro, an 08 plate would be rare if there is even any and not in a light blue.

I like the double-edged sword effect there...

Apoligies. Probably a Vectra VXR, having seen a picture of one just now on google images.
There was not meant to be a double-edged sword effect in my post, although I did get annoyed that someone would drive so dangerously in a fast car on a public road, in the middle of a lovely sunny afternoon when lots of innocent road-users were around, like me.

Perhaps it is my choice of wording, but I drove up to 70mph on a dual carriageway, in a safe manner. I stopped accelerating within the speed limit, however the other car didn't. My intention was to get sight of the full reg. no. and there is nothing wrong with my eyesight, hence the other car was travelling with some alacrity. I would certainly not endanger my family, myself, nor anyone else, and drive a Volvo as even though I drive safely, I cannot say the same for other road users.

evil Here's another choice of penrolls wording from another thread ....
You're right, it doesn't affect my life that much, epsecially on the station run in the morning, but knowing you can go fast if you wanted to is important!
The guys at work all have 400 bhp cars, as well
Buy a Monaro then you can go really fast

Sure did, would have been my 2nd choice if I hadn't found a yellow one.
