Hi does anyone know if the LS7 slave cylinder is the same as the LS1/2?

No, not if we are talking ls1/2 in a monaro. Can be done with mods.

Thanks for the reply,
I know that some of the LSX slaves have a different fitting for the clutch line is this the mod you mean or something else?

Monaro's for some strange reason dont have the quick release fitting, like all the normal US built cars do.

Yup, I have a slave with a quick disconnect on mine, I converted it to quick disconnect by pushing out the holding pin on the fitting, pop in the quick disconnect fitting and secure with the pin.
What I'd like to know is, apart from the fittings is there any difference with a LS7 slave/throw out bearing?
Basically would a LS7 slave (disregarding fittings) work with an LS7 flywheel and clutch in a Monaro or would you need a LS1/2 slave
Cheers

Plenty of guys use the LS7 clutch. Ive never heard of the swapping the slave too. I'd imagine they are the same.
