Well its one thing owning one and another driving one. I would expect said chav to stuff it sooner rather than later.

Every time you get a message that someone has replied to your thread you think it may be a buyer, but no just some guy giving you his views on life. Very frustrating I imagine. Sorry to add to the number but just had to share my thoughts. By the way, your car looks v good at the price!

Need to sort out the finances. It's a third car, I'll have to put up with the Laguna for a while. I told my wife I'd only have it for 6/7 months, it's now 15, so I've done well. It's been great. Maybe one day I'll get another with SC.

understand the reasoning and good luck with the sale but at that price I'd argue its so far under een todays market value that you shouldnt negotiate on it

What is the right price tho? Nothing is selling at the moment and I don't expect it to get better anytime soon. Supply and demand will win out in the end sadly.

well I think there is a lot of panic selling at the minute or reconciliation which is forcing prices down below the realistic value if the recent crunch etc hadn't hit might even find it hard to sell at 10.5.

I'd had mine up but not a sniff but I was looking to swap for something like an s2000 etc and figured better to sell private than trade in. As it happens I changed my mind and wish I could pull my ad but they've changed things and now want too much personal info for me to even log back in to remove the advert

The problem is no one is buying anything at the moment at any price
I'm sure if I droped the price of my car
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/600791.htm
by another £2k I would still not get a cash buyer.....
Just a few more people wanting to knock me down further with lame excuses
....and my car is £6k cheaper than the next supercharged car on pistonheads ?????

Don't sell it then, enjoy it before the government makes it impossible. If you are prepared to lose 2k because of the price of fuel spend the money on a cheap diesel run about instead and be grateful you didn't pay for the mods yourself.

Sales of big-engined stuff are quiet currently. They are selling, but not in numbers. If you are happy enough to give it away then dropping the price will eventually lure a buyer out of the woodwork.

There are buy it now ones on Ebay for under £11k also some auction ones sitting around 7.5k so Id say that the CV8 model is now officially depreciated frown

think all it reflects is people panic selling at the minute tbh. I bet if I sold my car for 8k today I would be able to sell it for 8k in 2 years time

Well I didn't buy mine because it was a good store of value, I bought it to burn rubber.
