Try Vauxhall, they'll do you a bog standard, unupgraded, superundeluxe, OEM spec standard exchange box for about £7.5k.........

Ps Joke - Why did the VX customer have the word GUM tatooed on his forehead?
Answers on a post card please....

Transmission Components of Letchworth 01462 672222 are official Tremec distributors in UK.Or D&D Performance in the States.I purchased a Viper T56 uprated to 650ft/lbs recently for $3200 ex-stock.

Various ratios with the .50 or .62 6th gear.
I chose 2.66/1.78/1.30/1.00/.80/.62 but you can have 2.97/2.07/1.43/1.00/.80/.62 or .50 plus others I believe. These are available for GM and Ford, mine being purchased for the MG SVR to harness the power with only 1500 kgs all up weight.

didnt realise you could specify the gearing, thats pretty cool I know grandada raves about the updated ratios of the latter monaro t56 when mated to the 3.46 rear drive as its the equiv of the 3.91 rear drive with the older t56 rations (if I remember his calcs)

We get our gearbox spares from various sources, Tremec direct, Holden plus Aussie distributors. The T56 is really easy to rework.

You could also try my friend and team-mate Alan Jackson up in Chester, for years he has been rebuilding gearboxes and rearends, most notably for the guy who owns Demon Tweeks. He used to have his own V8 stock car years ago, then an alcohol and later nitro funny car, drove a nitro dragster for a few years and now tunes Micke Kagered from Swedens top fuel dragster. From Scoobys and Evos to exotic stuff like Ferraris he's rebuilt the boxes for them! Let me know if you want his contact details.
