Thanks to Roger, Andy and the boys for a good efficient service. I can fully recommend them. Top marks for communications and doing exactly as you said you would, and on time.
Picked up my ute to day and it sounds awesome. Was disappointed at some work I'd done on the exhaust system earlier, but these nice Wortec headers and Hi flo cats have transformed the sound.
I also had the front and rear bushes done (Response packs?)including a re-alignment, and it now does something it didn't do very well before. It turns in when I tell it to!!!
Nice job on the Harrop diff cover too. It all makes for something far more tight and responsive, and now feels more like a race car than a pick up truck. Cheers.

bout 400 fitted check the website but how good? Well put it this way, the car now handles as it always should have done from the outset. ITs a subtle change that just add to a very good end result. I am on stock cv8 suspension too which I personally love the combination of ride quality and turn in feel. ITs a hell of a lot more precise, I'd say its close to what my 350z was and that handled great

trust me I am the fussiest driver when it comes to it and I get no twitching no nothing. IT just removes a lot of the slop without impacting on ride quality at all. What model you got? I drove the pedders equipped demo car and wasn't at all keen on the ride as it was too stiff. This RR has transformed turn and response without making it a twitchy go-kart
Most of my journeys are motorway miles too and its not an issue, it is an issue when you turn off the motorway as it now makes the drives a lot more rewarding

I've got an 05 CV8. The demo car - do you mean the lowered (04 CV8 i think) one they are/were selling recently?
If so, I was not overjoyed by the ride either (reminded me too much of my astra coupe - everything in the glove box rattled when you went over a bump including your teeth (my astra not the Ro BTW.)
Guess i want the best of both worlds, but definitely would err on the side of comfort than performance.
So to sum up Stig, it doesn't make the steering twitchy, but takes out the sloppiness and you will buy me lots of condolence juice

I always feel guilty when i spunk out hard earned on mods but this and the ripper are two I have not regretted

Interesting observation there re the Pedders set-up. Is the ride really that harsh as in, unbearably so or something that you feel given time could learn to live with if you had it fitted? I'm trying to get something set up so that basically it feels as though it's running on rails when being pushed but if it's something that's going to p!ss the wife off in the passenger seat then I'll need to re-think!!
I'm due to pester Roger over this next week and hopefully get a spin in the demo car but balanced opinions would be appreciated..

No, not harsh just FIRM. My standard Ro's suspension is very comfortable and I like that because of the miles I do.
It is not uncomfortable but you know when you have hit a pot hole. I guess (from standard suspension) you would think it "hard" but if you are used to track/race/sports set ups it will be fine. Just a little too dedicated to performance IMHO.
Regarding learning to live with it, i guess you would start smiling broadly the first time you enthusiastically drive it, but i would not expect grandma in the back to feel the same. But then again its not her car!!!
You need to try it for yourself - it's definitely down to personal preference.

No difference, except that it doesn't wander around at high speed anymore, it just sits there, straight as a die. You will have more feed back and mine is a little noisier, but remember I have a ute with no soundprooofing anyway. The steering is fabulous. All I can say is that I was truly amazed at what a difference a few bits of plastic make (plus the realign of course). If your cars there already, just do it. The Mrs probably won't even notice! I was, but the same question would apply to MyM8V8 or anyone else with the bushes fitted.
It's nice to hear different people's responses as ride quality is a very subjective issue, and we shouldn't leave it to the Collective Mod Sellers to tell us how good their products are (even if they are!) - what better than customer reccomendations?
