ive got a 07 vxr and ive a few questions

1. does only wortec stiff from Monkfish maintain the factory warrenty on the car?
2. whats the crack with vauxhall if you for example change the exhaust from somewhere else will they void the warrenty?
3. what about changing the radio will that void the warrenty as they may say that the wiring may have done it
4. if you fitted a stainless exhaust not from wortec and the car had to go in for something would they likely not sort the car?

Wortec stuff doesnt get covered by Vauxhall warranty - covered by Wortec but as I understand it Vauxhall dont void your warranty for having their stuff fitted. Don't know if anyone's tested the warranty with something of Wortec's blowing up and damaging Vauxhall covered bits of course. Think the Wortec people have accepted responsibility for anything their stuff does to your car. Sure one of their dealers will clarify the exact position.

Walkinshaw still owns a large part if not the majority share of HSV so they're a slightly different kettle of fish

He owns all of it and has done for 20 years since it started. He takes an active role in the running of the business, the product plans of the future and our relationship with General Motors.

Just to clarify on warranty, it is financially and legally seperate from Vauxhall, but functions through the dealership, the customer should not need to contact us seperately, and we have had meetings with Vauxhall to ensure the terms are parallel with the Vauxhall terms and conditions. We have regular sessions with Vauxhall to ensure the right business is picking up the tab.
