Belt Tensioner

Does anyone know of an aftermarket upgrade to the stock belt tensioner.... stock item seems a little weak for SC applications. I've found a number of billet fixed units but this is no good for SC applications.

Yes - Jezz had wider pulleys custom made but I get the feeling that if you need to ask the price then you cant afford it.... also the stock tensioner just does not fullfill me with confidence regardless. Maybe a custom made setup through one of my bike contacts in a machine shop is needed...?

Magnacharger supply an uprated tensioner with their supercharger kits, doesnt the Harrop kit come with the same?

Seen that one and dropped them a line already to see if it will fit the Harrop setup?

As above contact some of the Vette tuners. Although with some of their auto tensioners, I just think they butcher and re-drill a normal style tensioner, altering the leverage point to increase tension.

I had a shorter belt fitted and then the stop removed from the standard tensioner, it cured the problems I had at the time.
