wavey My stamping ground. Just been to Argos then for a quick spin through town before getting cuaght in the traffic on the prom. Needs a wash!

Can't say I noticed you as I was trying to watch out for suicidal old folk who cross the roads around here without looking.

Yeah, my son saw you. He said that there was someone near NEXT looking at the car then moaned that more people were staring at it by M&S. He doesn't appreciate the cars rarity at the moment.

Hope you enjoyed your holiday in sunny North Wales..

You know we were there for five weeks and the day i saw you was the fourth day of sunshine. We are thinking of moving up that way though. Much nicer than the Mids and closer to Slaters::

A move up here would be a good one - that'd be 3 'Ro's that I know of in this area - lot's of nice roads through Snowdonia to...er...'exercise' the car, but be aware of Mr Brunstroms boys...they'll knick you for the slightest infringement!!
DevilYellow - hows things Paul? Been a bit since we last spoke...
A mate of mine from Abergele has just got an Astra VXR 'Nurburgring'...says it's an awsome piece of kit, but was given a VXR8 for a day whilst some work was done on the Astra & came within a whisker of buying that instead...just couldn't afford the extra 10K!
Am home again next month...hope the weather's good this time!!

There would be four as i know there is a silver VXR Monaro around Prestatyn. I've heard about that guy. Did'nt it have something to do with his daughter being killed by a drunk driver? Heddlu everywhere. Beautiful place though

I think it's more likely to be about 7 ro's around here that I know of then inc yours, Paul.H and mine. The rest are VXR's (1VY & 3 VZ's). Couple of VXR8's.

Paul - Hope you're ok. Have to agree with you re the Astra Nurburgring, had a spin in one a few weeks back and have to admit it would be a serious consideration if I was changing the 'ro.

Bonnie, you're right about the BIB (Heddlu) they'll nick you like lightning for the slightest motoring offence but are f/a use at anything else. A couple of years ago, had some stuff nicked. It turned up with some people 60 miles away. We informed the BIB and unbelievably they phoned the culprits and asked them if they new anything. Unsurprisingly of course they didn't and that was the end of that.
Don't hesitate if you are thinking of moving, it's agood place to live, I've been here for yonks. Don't know where that internet cafe is you mentioned in an earlier post.

We really love North Wales feels like home to us now. Coming back to the mids is always a real bad come down. We've got a holiday home (caravan)paperbag in Prestatyn and normally owners get to use Wi Fi in reseption. However for the first week it was'nt working::. So every day i went into Prestatyn to a place called Nexus (just to visit my family on the forum). Its up the top opposite bargain booze (now you know how i found it). Not really a cafe although you can buy a can of pop:: Cant wait to be there again. Maybe all of the V8's(that we know of) could meet up for a drink.beer

Steven (aka honory Paul of this Parish), Yes, plenty of long and winding roads down here for you test your new bits!

We might even get a decent meet one day!

The New Inn is my local yeah (I live up next to the waterfall!) & I do park in there at lunchtime-ish sometimes, mine is red but an 04 CV8 with a non-standard exhaust...a Monkfish/Wortec derivitive with DeFillippo long tube headers & cat-back system, it's a bit of a 'growler'!!! Can't recall speaking to anyone though...

Count me in for any meet that takes place here although I'd have to be home at the time...find it difficult to make the meet if I'm not!!

If anyone's in the area 11 - 21 Oct (next leave home!), give me a day & time & we'll have a drink, soft one of course!!!! My email address is on here!
